Homemade Zesty Guacamole

So I don’t think there is anything during beautiful sunny days that my husband and I love more, than Sports & BBQ-ing. So after a fun day at the Sounders we took the train ride home to brainstorm dinner ideas. We decided to keep it easy, but fresh and delicious. I decided to make homemade guacamole & he decided to bbq some veggie burgers.

Here is the delicious recipe for some homemade guacamole…..

-3 medium sized avacado's
-3/4 cup of red onion
-1/4 cup of non-fat plain greek yogurt
-1/4 cup of tomatillos
-3/4 cup of tomato
-4 cloves of chopped garlic
-1/4 cup of chopped cilantro
-1 tsp. cumin
-2 tbsp. lime juice
-sea salt & black pepper to taste

First get out a medium size mixing bowl and start mashing avocado’s.

Next, chop up the tomato’s, mince the garlic, and finely chop the cilantro. Stir into the mashed up avocado.

Stir in the remaining ingredients and mix well.
              Easy, quick, & delicious :)
